About the role

Due to rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Conference Coordinator to join our thriving Marketing team. With excellent organisation skills, a creative flair and a keen interest in planning conferences and events you will be an integral part of our Marketing team. Working closely with our Sector Leaders and Graphic Designers you will plan and coordinate all conferences that we will attend throughout the year in the UK and Overseas.

You will be:

  • Working with Sector Leaders to plan future conferences and events.

  • Creating an event instruction document for the booth team at each event.

  • Communicating with the conference contacts to book attendees, booths and speaker slots.

  • Liaising with our Travel Coordinator for hotel booking, flights etc.

  • Updating and maintaining our conferences spreadsheet.

  • Working closely with our Graphic Designers and external companies to organise all marketing material for the events.

  • Arranging couriers for UK and overseas shipments.

  • Ensuring our Marketing collateral stock is replenished and organised.

  • Any other administration tasks as required.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a Conference Coordinator, Events Management role or similar is essential.

  • Strong experience in planning a high volume of events per year with accuracy and to a high standard.

  • Knowledge of booth stands; banners and design would be advantageous.

  • Accurate typing and strong computer literacy skills using Microsoft e.g. Excel, Outlook, Access, Word.

  • Methodical approach with excellent organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • A-Levels minimum.

  • Motivated with a good business acumen and a positive team player attitude.
