Job description

Cambridge Design Partnership is a leading technology and product design consultancy, managing and delivering global project work for innovative consumer and healthcare companies. A unique, dynamic and innovative consultancy based in Cambridge you’ll work alongside our cross-disciplinary user centred design team. This is a client facing role so you will be comfortable interacting with clients and delivering your research insights and analysis. As a critical part of our service in supporting the creation of early stage concepts, you will identify and implement appropriate user research techniques including the method of ethnographic research.

About you:

  • 1st or 2:1 degree in Product Design, Engineering, Human Factors, Psychology or Social Sciences related field

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Commercial awareness and willingness and ability to travel nationwide and overseas (essential)

  • Experience in applying human factors methodologies to safety critical devices (Knowledge of FDA & EU regulated healthcare products is an advantage)

  • Knowledge of designing, implementing, moderating and reporting formative and summative usability studies

  • Demonstrative experience of translating research into usability engineering documentation

  • Bright, conscientious and creative with an ability to demonstrate a hobby or interest with a practical or technical relevance

  • Design and planning of workshops for new and exciting products
