About you: 

As Senior Consultant Software Engineer, you’ll be part of and leading our multidisciplinary teams contributing to major development projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing software for a range of product applications for our clients globally within the healthcare, consumer, industrial and energy sectors. Experienced in working to tight deadlines, you will be an expert in your field, love working with clients, and lead projects successfully to quality, time and cost targets.

With an entrepreneurial attitude and a flair for developing software systems and structures, we will give you the freedom and support to develop your career and push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the digital world.
 

Requirements:

  • 1st or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software or Electronic Engineering
  • Experienced in Project Leadership/Management
  • A careful systematic and methodical approach to software development
  • Technical expertise, potentially including:
    • o Appreciation of many levels of software development – possibly spanning embedded firmware, PC applications, and/or IT scalable systems.
    • o Embedded C essential, C++ experience desirable
    • o Experience of microcontroller development essential
    • o Experience of an embedded RTOS
    • o Experience of Linux and Python hugely desirable
    • o Understanding of the performance impact of using different features of software languages
    • o Knowledge of basic electronics
  • Comfortable and experienced with modern development tools and practices, and an appreciation of test methodologies
  • Self-motivated and accustomed to getting on with tasks, working in a team with strict attention to detail.
  • Supporting of Business Development activities
