Innovative design and technology consultancy Cambridge Design Partnership has appointed Alan Cucknell as Front End Innovation Leader and Tom Lawrie-Fussey as Technology Business Development Lead, further strengthening the specialist innovation and digital capabilities within the team. 

An experienced new product developer, Alan has spent over 14 years working in strategic design innovation and front-end research projects, primarily with blue chip companies. At Cambridge Design Partnership he will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities for clients and working alongside the multi-disciplinary team to translate these into successful products.

Alan has worked for a number of world-class companies, including Procter & Gamble, Electrolux, Lego, Wonderbra, The North Face, and Anheuser Busch AB InBev.

Tom Lawrie-Fussey will head up the Technology Business Development team at Cambridge Design Partnership. His focus will be working with clients to develop ground-breaking new products to solve unmet needs and maximise their investment in connected devices by supporting their digital strategies and unlocking revenue potential.

With an engineering degree from Cambridge, Tom has worked as an engineering consultant for more than 10 years, including a role in the automotive industry with Bentley Motors and a large Cambridge engineering consultancy.
