Matt to spearhead new medtech growth
Head of medical therapy systems Matt Brady has been appointed a partner at technology and product design firm Cambridge Design Partnership (CDP). The move is the latest phase of the company’s expansion in the healthcare sector and comes just weeks after the appointment of industry veteran Bastiaan de Leeuw to drive drug delivery business development.
“Our healthcare work has always been a crucial part of our operations as we seek to use our unique blend of knowledge and expertise to improve people’s lives,” said Mike Cane, one of CDP’s founding partners. “As we continue our record-breaking growth, Matt’s appointment to partner will ensure medical therapy technology is at the heart of our expansion plans.”
Matt has worked at CDP for eight years and has led a wide range of challenging multidisciplinary product developments – from award-winning drug delivery devices and handheld diagnostics systems to safety-critical, minimally invasive surgical devices. For the last three years he has led CDP’s global medical therapy devices and systems work for clients ranging from small start-ups to large multinational organisations.
“I am delighted to be joining the ranks of CDP’s world-class leadership team,” said Matt. “It is a massive endorsement of our work in the medical devices sector and a clear sign that the sector will be central to our future growth. Our expansion means we can help even more clients with their innovation, product design and development challenges as they transform the lives of patients around the world.”
